Alum Anatolia Evarkiou-Kaku, now a Pomona College student, will play her flute solo with the Pomona Orchestra as winner of their Concerto Competition on Saturday, March 6th.
Alum Daniel Sundy is now a professional bassist playing in Germany in the Wurttembergische Philhamonie Reutlingen. He has been playing in professional symphonies all over the world for the past decade.
Alum Matt McBane, a violinist, now composes and performs in his professional ensemble “Build”. Their debut record was just releases on the Naxos label. He was also just awarded an Irvine Fellowship for a residency at Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, CA. Check out Build’s recent performance on KPBS here.
