The San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory presents their 22nd Celebration of Music Education Concerts. Two special concerts to honor the dedicated music educators in our region and celebrate the importance of music education in the lives of our youth and the entire community.

Ticket sales through the SDYS website are now closed.
Tickets are still available through the California Center for the Arts Box Office. –>>

The 1 pm concert honors Music Educators Charles McGhee III and Matthew Armstrong, both from San Marcos Unified School District. Attendees will experience performances by ensembles from our Inspiration Level – Overture Winds (Conducted by Chris Lea), Overture Strings (Conducted by Anthony Do-Hoon Kim), and Symphonic Strings (Conducted by Ulli Reiner). Also appearing are our intermediate Showcase Level Ensembles – Wind Sympony and Sinfonia conducted by Juan Cristóbal Palacios.

SDYS is proud to offer complimentary concert tickets to all music educators in San Diego County. This annual event gives over 600 students enrolled an opportunity to personally thank their music instructors and gives SDYS an opportunity to show appreciation for their support in helping us reach so many children in the San Diego area.
