SDYS Celebrates Outstanding Music Educators
Coinciding with National Music in Our Schools month, San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory (SDYS) presents their 24th annual Celebration of Music Education concerts on Sunday, March 15 and Sunday, April 19, paying tribute to hundreds of outstanding music educators throughout the county.

Lilian Franqui, Pacific Beach Middle School student, wins San Diego Youth Symphony intermediate solo competition
Seventh-grade Pacific Beach Middle School student Lilian Franqui plays violin, speaks fluent Chinese and just won an intermediate-level music competition. For six years, Lilian’s been a member of the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory.
